Katsushi Aiwa
Born in 1957 in Kyoto, Katsushi Aiwa is a versatile artist renowned for his mastery in the world of dyeing. With expertise in design and dyeing techniques, he has created a myriad of unique works, prominently showcased at the Kyoto New Artists Association. Drawing on his experience as a dyer, Aiwa plays a central role as a producer for planned projects by popular printmakers.
In addition to his contributions as a dyeing artist, Aiwa has independently delved into illustration design, showcasing his multifaceted talents through exhibition posters and various commercial designs.
