Masae Kuwano

Born in 1942, Masae Kuwano's artistic journey blossomed amid the embrace of abundant nature. In 1990, a serendipitous encounter with a Sugino-type pressed flower ignited her creative passion. Kuwano's exquisite artworks have graced diverse spaces, from local post offices and hospitals to banks and public halls, including the lobby of the city hall. Committed to propagating the art of "Pressed Flowers," she assumed the roles of director and president at "Hitano no Hana no Kai," a testament to her dedication to fostering the appreciation and dissemination of this delicate and captivating form of artistic expression.
